What is your background and qualifications?
Dietitian, qualified in London UK. I have over 25 years’ experience in the food, health and well-being industry with a particular focus on addressing obesity.
What is your role at Jenny Craig?
As the Director of Nutrition and Product Development, I’m responsible for ensuring the Jenny Craig program is in line with current thinking around nutrition and health and the latest scientific evidence around healthy weight management. I’ve been with the company for 12 years and am responsible for the development of the range of healthy Jenny Craig meals and snacks as an integral part of the Jenny Craig program.
How does your role impact weight loss?
I lead a team of Accredited Practising Dietitians to develop nutritionally balanced menu plans to support healthy and sustainable weight loss. Dietitians work with our field training team and Consultants to ensure we deliver a program and resources that support weight management success, personal support and motivation plus an excellent Member experience.
What drew you to working for Jenny Craig over other weight loss programs?
Jenny Craig has been a world leader in weight management for many years. We are constantly learning and always striving to enhance our program. With our close relationship through Members and Consultants, we constantly listen and learn of how we can best support our Members to achieve success through all the highs and lows of their weight loss journey.
What do you enjoy about your job?
I love working with a team of positive, energetic and caring people, both in head office and our Jenny Craig centres that are truly passionate about helping our Members achieve their goals. We really can make a difference.
