Tell us a bit about you and what life was like before you joined Jenny Craig.

All my life I had been unhappy with my weight. I had tried almost every possible weight loss program or fad diet you can name. My health and outlook on life were suffering, I had no energy and low self-esteem.

Why did you decide to join Jenny Craig?

I was at my lowest and thought I would try one last time to do something positive for myself and saw a Jenny Craig ad on TV, which gave me the motivation to contact Jenny Craig and give it a go.

Can you describe your experience on the Jenny Craig program?

Right from the start I felt welcome and supported. All the hard work of counting calories and meal planning was taken care of, the meals were delicious, and it never felt like a diet, more of a change of lifestyle that was for the better.

Do you have any favourite items from the Jenny Craig menu?

I love all the food! Some favourites were the Chicken Pad Thai, Sticky Date Pudding, Ice cream, Bangers and Mash and Choc Chip Bites.

Tell us about your Jenny Craig Consultant?

My consultant Jenny is amazing! I always look forward to her smile and telling her about my week. She is kind and thoughtful, always a listening ear and has become more of my friend than just a consultant.

How do you feel now that you’ve lost the weight?

I feel wonderful. I feel confident and love the extra energy I have now which allows me to go walking and keep up with the rest of the family. I am not embarrassed to go to events or worry that I won’t fit into something nice. Joining Jenny Craig is the best thing I ever did for myself.

Do you have a standout moment on the Jenny Craig program you’d like to share?

I had two standout moments. My first standout moment was during my first week on Jenny Craig, I was too scared to look at the scales and was so surprised that I had lost weight. My second standout moment happened at my last weigh in, I looked at the scales and was so happy to see that I had reached my goal weight – I had not been at that weight for many, many years.
