Jelena Dokic is a few months into her Jenny Craig journey, and she’s speeding towards her goal!

As well as being our newest ambassador, Jelena is a former world number four tennis player, bestselling author, commentator and speaker. She has made incredible progress towards her goal of losing 33kg in 6 months, despite a busy and stressful few months of work. We caught up to hear about her journey so far.

You’re eight weeks into the Rapid Results Program – how are you feeling so far?

I feel amazing. I’ve lost more than 20 kilos* and I couldn’t have imagined that I would be losing weight, feeling this great, and developing a new healthy and happy lifestyle.

What’s been the biggest surprise so far?

The biggest surprise has been the variety of delicious food and how easy it is. There is almost no prep time! Also having my own personal consultant – just how much they help and support me has been incredible and a real surprise. It’s amazing just how much of a difference having that support makes.

How are you finding the Jenny Craig meals? Which is your favourite?

I love the meals and the variety. It’s hard to pick just one, but the fish and wedges is one of my favourites. So are the pancakes, and the white chocolate and cranberry cookie is my favourite snack!

How do you find your relationship with food is changing?

My relationship with food has absolutely changed – it’s healthy and happy now. I don’t think about food or meals as much and it doesn’t cause stress or anxiety. I know I am eating delicious food without jeopardising my weight loss and health. Also, I have learnt more about portion control and since being on Jenny Craig I definitely don’t feel the need to eat unhealthy food anymore.

You were looking forward to the consultant sessions – how has Belinda helped you so far?

Having a consultant has been incredible. It’s something I was most excited about when I started this journey and I was not wrong. It’s everything I thought it would be and more. The whole Jenny Craig team has been unbelievably supportive and helpful. Belinda has changed my life – she has been there for me every step of the way.

How has she been supporting you?

On top of seeing her once a week, we also talk on the phone when certain things come up, or when I have a very busy work and travel schedule and need help with organising meals when I am on the road. I have had some very exhausting and stressful weeks and months – Belinda has been there to guide me through while keeping me positive and on track.

What’s one thing you wish you knew about Jenny Craig before you started?

I wish I’d known how much I would love it and how it would change my life – I would have started the program sooner!
