With the warmer weather arriving, staying hydrated becomes even more important, so we’ve put together some ideas to make your water bottle a little tastier!
Add to your bottle of water:
- Berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
- Fresh mint leaves
- Sliced cucumber
- Ginger slices
- Pineapple pieces
- Orange slices
- Watermelon and mint
- Lemon and/or lime: slices or squeezed in (combine with cucumber or orange)
- Kiwi fruit slices (combine with strawberries for additional taste)
- Ice: ice on its own, or freeze some of the above in the ice cubes!
Blending fruit into water
Lychee & Passionfruit Refresher
Ingredients:
- 2 Lychees (fresh or canned)
- 2 Passionfruit
- 1 Lime
- 2 cups of plain sparkling mineral water/soda water
- 1 cup of ice
- Handful of mint leaves
Method:
1. Peel lychees, remove seeds if using fresh lychees
2. Cut passionfruit in half and extract pulp with a spoon
3. Blend the passionfruit, ice, mint, lime juice, and one of the lychees for 20-30 seconds
4. Pour blended mixture in a glass and top with mineral/soda water
5. Serve with an extra sprig of mint, more ice and the remaining lychee
