hints-and-tips

Maybe you’ve mastered making the Recharge Bar part of your routine, or perhaps you’re finding it difficult to fit into your schedule. We’ve put together some tips to help keep you on track.

Our delicious Recharge Bar is available exclusively to the Jenny Craig Max Up Weight Loss Program. Max Up is based around the 14:10 intermittent fasting regime, this means eating within a 10-hour nourishment period and then avoiding food and drinks containing kilojoules during a 14-hour rejuvenation period.  The Recharge Bar is specially formulated to be the perfect balance of fat, protein and carbohydrates, to support your 14-hour rejuvenation period, and is consumed at the 12-hour mark of fasting (ie. 2 hours before your nourishment period commences).

The bar is made from a premium blend of nuts, including almonds, macadamias and pecans, with a touch of honey. Nuts are packed full of nutrients, and it may surprise you that research suggests a well-balanced healthy eating plan containing nuts can help with weight management.

Tips to make the Recharge Bar part of your morning routine!

  1. Drink – The Recharge Bar is the perfect accompaniment to your morning cup of black coffee or herbal tea, or perhaps you like to start your day with a glass of water.
  2. News – If you like to catch up on the news when you wake up, you may choose to enjoy your Recharge Bar while reading the paper or news articles on your phone.
  3. Exercise – Do you like starting your day off with some exercise, or even getting some fresh air? Take a few minutes after your work out to enjoy the fresh air and your Recharge Bar.
  4. Meditation – Maybe you start your morning with some meditation. Why not enjoy your Recharge Bar after you meditate, and practice mindful eating at the same time.
  5. Planning your day – Perhaps you like to plan out your day when you first wake up, you may ask yourself:
  • What do you have planned for today?
  • What time does your 10-hour nourishment period start?
  • Should you eat your Recharge Bar now, or would you prefer to wait another hour or even two?
  • What time will your 14-hour rejuvenation period commence?
