Keeping physically active can help you achieve your weight loss goals while on the Jenny Craig program.

Better yet, research shows that dieting alongside an efficient weight loss exercise plan, can help keep the weight off in the long term. Not to mention, physical activity also has a number of benefits to your overall well being!

Beyond weight loss, exercise has a number of benefits:

  • Elevated mood
  • Heart health
  • Stronger bones
  • Boosted immunity
  • Higher energy levels
  • Improved Sleep
  • Lower stress levels
  • Reduced risk of some chronic illnesses

Focus and think about the benefits

If you’re just starting to move more or want to improve your current weight loss exercise plan, it can be helpful to focus on the benefits of exercise beyond weight loss. While weight loss is key to exercise motivation, finding other reasons to exercise that resonates with you will also be helpful!

When you’re setting your activity goals, take a moment to think about the benefits that are important to you – what exercise motivation can you come up with?

Once you find your motivator, write it down and keep it visible. Then every time you take the intuitive to move more, repeat this motivator as your very own mantra. And remember, every bit of movement helps!
