health screening
All prospective clients undergo a health screening process to assess their suitability to enrol on the Program. Enrolment procedures based on health conditions are followed in accordance with the Weight Management Code of Practice, available at: www.weightcouncil.org.
For certain health conditions, doctor's written approval is requested. For some, it may be recommended that individualised advice from an Accredited Practising Dietitian may be more suitable.
Jenny Craig does not enrol clients under the age of 13 years due to the specific dietary requirements associated with this stage of growth and development. It is recommended to seek individualised advice from an Accredited Practising Paediatric Dietitian who specialises in paediatrics.
A Body Mass Index of 20-25kg/m2 is used to identify the healthy weight range according to height for clients enrolling on the program. Clients are encouraged to set a weight goal that is achievable for them. Jenny Craig does not support goal weights with a BMI below the healthy weight rang.
